The Sun is rising says the glow in the east
For eyes thirsting for beauty, a lavish feast

As clean as a slate, a brand new day
For every man to walk his way

From grey to pink with blood red strokes
What myriad colours the sky does soak

Such are the hues Nature sought
Oh! What exquisite magic her brush has wrought

Like a lotus opening at the crack of dawn
Or the innocent face of a peeping fawn
