Galaxies are found in groups or clusters. Many clusters of galaxier are known, some of which contain hundreds of members loosely held together by the force of gravity. The Virgo cluster of galaxies, more than 60 million light years away from us, contains at least 1,000 galaxies. Our cluster consists of only about 20 galaxies.
